I wanted to make my DVD look professional as though it could be sold in shops so to do this I felt I had to make a DVD menu so that it didnt just go straight into my film. I done this using a programme on the Mac called iDVD. This programme showed me various different templates and themes which I could then add shots from my film to.
I chose a shelve type template as I thought that this best matched my romantic drama genre. This meant that I then had three places to put shots from my teaser trailer I chose three key moments from the teaser trailer to include in the iDVD menu.
I had to share my teaser trailer from imovie to iDVD which was simple and just meant ensuring that any changes that were made to my film meant that I had to share the movie again in order for the teaser trailer to be correct on iDVD.
