Different colours represent different meanings red has a meaning of passion, yellow is optimistic, black is seen as mysterious. During my trailer for the girl I am going to get her to wear a black dress or skirt with a grey coat. This will show mystery in the character as well as passion. Grey can be seen as formal and intensity of the character it can also symbolise success. This is for the office scene at the very beginning of the trailer.
In the office scene the boy will be wearing something very formal i.e. a suit a tie and trousers and possibly a blazer. The office scene is at the beginning and there will be costume changes in this trailer.
In my trailer the main boy character will wear a very formal shirt with jeans whilst not looking too formal I want the boy to seem geeky. However he is on holiday so too formal would not fit the theme of my trailer.
In the holiday park scene the girl will be wearing yellows and oranges as it is supposed to be a holiday and this will be a fun colour. It will be very informal as she is not supposed to be wearing something formal just something fun.
Good ideas, some images might add to the impression. Target: plan lighting very carefully if you want to create a holiday atmosphere, some very bright lighting and reflectors will be needed for exterior scenes at this time of year.
